3. Voting period is until March 31, 2008 only. The winning entry will be posted on April 1, 2008.

Please help spread the word to other ILLUMINA so that they can vote too.

If you plan to order a t-shirt/t-shirts, please contact anyone from the ILLUMINAte Team. We are currently looking for a possible t-shirt printing shop, so we need to know the final number of orders really, really, really soon.

Estimated cost of the t-shirt is P150-170 each. For those who are not in Manila, we will post an account number of an ATM where you can deposit your payment. Deadline of payments is on April 15, 2008. We will NOT process your order if we do not receive your payment by then.

We are also in need of volunteers who are: a) going to Davao this summer and b) willing to bring the t-shirts for ILLUMINA in Davao. If you are currently not in Manila or Davao, we can send your shirt through a mail courier provided that you send us money, or you can arrange for someone to meet with us and we will give the shirt to him/her, et cetera et cetera.

Violent reactions? Post a comment.

TANIKALANG GUINTO

Illumina! Baka interesado kayong suportahan ang play namin. So, basahin niyo na lang...

---

Ateneo-ENTABLADO (ENterteynment para sa TAo Bayan LAnsangan at DiyOs) the same theatre company who staged the grandiose Sandaang Panaginip will once again grace the scene with its staging of Tanikalang Guinto, one of the most famous seditious plays written by nationalist Juan Abad during the American Colonization.

Considered as part of the canon of Philippine literature, Tanikalang Guinto showcases themes of nationalism, and love for independence and culture. The production is a celebration of the Filipino identity as it epitomizes the Filipino drama simboliko, artistically intertwined with modern elements.

ENTABLADO invites everyone to pay tribute to Filipino excellence in expressing the love for nation and freedom through arts and literature this coming February 7 to March 1 at the Rizal Mini Theater, Ateneo de Manila University. (With 7PM shows on Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays; 3PM and 7PM shows on Saturdays.) For ticket reservations and other concerns, please contact Dianne Wilwayco at 09294635194. Tickets are worth PHP200.
