What is GCash?

GCash enables any Globe or TM subscriber to send and receive money and make payments just through text/ SMS.

GCash is most commonly used by Globe and TM subscribers for:

· Sending and receiving money locally or internationally since GCash is a much faster, cheaper, and more secure alternative to traditional money transfer services- at the Speed of Text, No Membership, Maintenance, Remittance, or Bank Fees!

· Prepaid Reloading due to the convenience of being able to load anytime and anywhere and the 10% REBATE for every transaction.

How do I start using GCash?

In order to star using GCash a Globe/TM subscriber has to:

1. Register to GCash via text

a. Text:

REG(space)any 4-digit PIN/Mother's Maiden Name/First Name/Last Name/Address

and send to 2882

b. Note that there should be no spaces before and after the slashes (/).

c. Make sure all information provided are true and the subscriber’s name is as reflected on the subscriber’s ID

2. Convert cash into GCash (Cash-in)

a. Via any GCash partner outlet

· Globe Business Centers

· Globelines Payments and Services Centers

· SM Department Stores

· Partner Rural Banks

· Selected Tambunting Pawnshops

· Any many other partners nationwide.

b. Via any partner Bancnet ATM

1) Select other services

2) Fund Transfer

3) Asia United Bank (AUB)/ G-Cash

4) Indicate cellphone number of recipient

5) Indicate amount to be sent

3. Now you can use GCash for the following:

a. To send GCash to other Globe/ TM subscribers just text:

AMOUNT(space)PIN

and send to 2882+the 10 digit number of recipient.

The recipient can then convert GCash into cash (or cash-out) also with the above-mentioned GCash partner outlets. Just Call 2882 for FREE using any Globe/ TM cellphone to find out the nearest GCash partner.

b. To buy Globe/ TM prepaid load just text:

LOAD(space)AMOUNT(space)PIN

and send to:

1) 2882 if buying load for your own cellphone

2) 2882+the 10 digit number of recipient if buying load for others

You should receive confirmation of your payment right away.

If you are not a Globe or TM subscriber, you can still send your payment by:

Going to a Globe Business Center

You can go to any Globe Center and request to do a GCASH cash-in transaction. You will need to fill up a GCASH Service Form, and present any valid ID to complete your transaction. Cashing in at a Globe Center is FREE!

OR going to an accredited GCASH Partner

GCASH has over 1,800 accredited partners around the Philippines. These include SM Department & Metro Gaisano stores. Just like in a Globe Center, you will need to fill up a GCASH Service Form and present a valid ID to complete your GCASH cash-in transaction. You may be charged a transaction fee, which may vary per partner. For a complete list of GCASH outlets, click here.

OR going to a Bancnet ATM

You can also convert the cash in your Bancnet account to GCASH. To convert, you just need to go to any Bancnet ATM, select the option to do a fund transfer to Asia United Bank/GCASH. You will then be asked to key-in the 11-digit number of the mobile number you wish to load. After the transaction is completed, you will receive a text confirmation. You will be charged P25.00/transaction.

HOW TO CLAIM

Distribution of the t-shirts will be right after they are finished. We hope to distribute all of them before June.

We already have volunteers to help transport the shirts from Manila to Davao. If you are not in Manila or Davao and want us to send your t-shirt through LBC, or DHL/FedEx (Hi Luis!), tell us so we can canvass how much it will cost, and so that you can include it in your payment. You can also opt to authorize someone to claim the t-shirt for you.
